11.2 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown with red highlights and a big head that dissipates quickly with not much lacing. Aroma is sour cherries and brown sugar. Taste is slightly tart with sour cherries and then sweet with toffee and brown sugar.

Bottle split with wife, pours brown ruby, some what translucent. Typical Belgian nose with some cherry. Taste is pure cherry cough syrup, light sour. Body is watery but syrupy at the same time.

bottle. Mahogany with two finger head. Light cherry tartness, but not really sour. I’m very underwhelmed with the amount of flavor here -- what’s here is fine, but tastes almost like it’s been watered down significantly.

75 cl. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Dark brown colour with a reddish tinge. Big, fluffy lightly tanned head. Light sourish aroma with oak, caramel malts, tart apples, cherries and other berries. Discrete herbal and citrus hops. Taste is lightly sour. Light to medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry with a tart, fruity note, light berries and wood. This Oud Bruin is more subtle than e.g. Rodenbach or the Duchesse, but has a nice, refreshing character.

Not a favourite style of mine at all. Very dark brown beer with a smaall off-white head. Medium carbonation. Malts, some fruits and hops and a slighlty sour aftertaste. not for me.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with stable beige head. Clear aroma of fruit, malt and hops, with estery and vinous touches. Dry, vinous flavour, rather short-lived and non-aggressive but not unpleasant, either. Subtle hoppy and roasty notes. Dusty and estery aftertaste. Okay but I have tasted better beers of this style.

Highly refreshing beverage with a gentle acidity and tartness on top of a solid malt foundation. Not very high in flavor but light and easy on the palate.

Bottle pour. Pours a clear brown with a very head. The aroma has notes of tart cola. The taste is fruity tart. High carbonation. Medium body.
