3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
11.2 oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown with red highlights and a big head that dissipates quickly with not much lacing. Aroma is sour cherries and brown sugar. Taste is slightly tart with sour cherries and then sweet with toffee and brown sugar.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours ruby brown. Musty aroma of oak and berries. Has a tart fruity flavor but it isn’t overwhelmingly tart like some beers of this style. I like how this beer manages to have the characteristics of a Oud Bruin without being too much. Oak characteristics shine through.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark amber color with a foamy head leaving a little bit of sticky lacing. Smells funky. Sour, overripe fruit: apples, pears, plums and grapes. Taste is pretty good, sour fruit, wood, and even a cola like flavor mixed in there as well. Light body, moderate carbonation, very dry. Cloyingly dry in the finish which really hurts this, it could be much better otherwise.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy red-brown with large tan head. Aroma of sourdough bread and yeast. Flavor is less complex. Thin malt and a one-dimensional sourness with just a wisp of fruitiness. Ok, but not particularly interesting.

I’m a sucker for a good sour ale, and I enjoyed this one. Not overpowering, but well balanced and clean.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A very interesting brew. Has an amber hue in the glass with a garnet colored head. Literally the hed was slightly purple or red. Awesome. Smells like rusty iron and grapes. Immediately able to taste the oak aging. The oak flavor runs papery and smooth across your tongue. Also tastes like red wine. Aftertaste. Mediciney and rusted.
Good brew very drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.33l Pours a redish brown color with fizzy, bubbleish, vanishing off-white foam. Aroma of basement, earthy yeast, restrained fruity character with slight lactic acid feel. Discreet sourness with some oak in the mouthfeel. Slightly tart unfruity yeast leads to caramel and lactic-sweetness. Thin, watery body pairs with lifeless carbonation. Somwhat unclear, tart finish. Not too inviting, but quite decent though.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It poured like a cola. Aroma was interesting but any interest faded after tasting. Doesnt even taste like a beer. Tastes like an alcoholic cola. Im completely serious and had high hopes but I just cant believe something like this would come out of Belgium. I will chalk it up to a bad bottle and may try it again to re-rate.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer has a most marvelously strong, sharp and very inviting bouquet. Tart aroma and taste of sour cherries and cranberries prevail throughout, with a very fruity yet dry finish. Awesome!
