Aroma of vinegar, brown sugar, and sweet fruit. Smooth and easy drinking. Sweet-sour flavor. The caramel sweetness is bookended by vinegar and tart cherry. Only mildly puckering. A good brew.

Little sour or oak. Mostly a faint brown ale taste. Clear brown with average head and body. $2.99 for 11.2 oz. makes it not worthwhile!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 stevoj (975) - Ramstein-Miesenbach, GERMANY - JUN 17, 2013
Interesting take on the oud bruin style, leaning towards the sour ales. Brown in color with minimal head, and some cider/wine aromas. Taste is tart, and slightly sweet. A good dessert beer.

33 cl. bottle. Pours red brown with a tan head. Aromas of yeast, spice and dried fruit. Flavors have a bit of tartness from sour cherries, but over all good balance and complexity.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beaver (1077) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 11, 2013
11.2 oz bottle. Pours ruby amber with a big fizzy light tan head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is subdued - some acidic fruity sourness and some funk. As it warms it’s more sweet woody cherries.
The flavor is sweet acidic malts with tart fruits and some light sourness and funk. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some sharp carbonation.
Overall, an OK mild acidic sour that is more sweet than sour. Probably a good beginner sour.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JuliusCaesar (162) - New Hampshire, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Not the best Belgian sour I’ve had. With the exception of the smell, everything is a little weak. I would have loved some more tartness and complexity. It’s not a bad beer but it doesn’t really have the flavors to stand out from the crowd.

12oz bottle code 41022 from Sour Power pack @45° into Zwiesel 14.7oz cognac snifter; pours up a lively but controlled off white head over a mahogony body; aromas and flavors of cinnamon roll filling, apple skin, faint cherry and dusty wood with a mild spike of tartness from a light-medium body; decent, but leaves me looking for more intensity from the fruit, funk, and sour components
