COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber coloured top-fermented beer, brewed according to an old traditional recipe. A tasty beer, mellow in character that you can carry on drinking.

Orange amber color, creamy off-white head. Fruity sour aroma. Crisp carbonation. Citrusy, malty, dry fruity and yeasty notes. Some acidity in the aftertaste. You can drink this but nothing "speciale" happening here.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3205) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 8, 2007
Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large yellow-tan head. The aroma was faint tangy, yeasty and had a hint of banana. The flavor was tangy, yeasty and had a hint of citrus. Overall fairly bland. I would never have guessed it as being Belgian if I had had it blind.

Bottle; BB 11/17/07, Nose of caramel, sweetness, light fruitiness, and a little spices; Hazy copper with a medium large yellow beige head; Flavor has some caramel, graininess, and mild spices with a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Much better than their Tripel I had last night.

This one is herbal, floral, and spicy with light hops and sweet malt. The appearance is amber gold with a nice but average sized head. The flavor is like the aroma with a white wine spritzer feel to it. The palate is a little thin but smooth from carbonation. The finish is dry. This beer is very drinkable but not fantastic.

Draft. The drying finish stands out as a major drawback to this brew. It’s as though the sweet caramel and malts just wander into a desert and leave you with a thirst. Not sour at all, plenty of caramel and fruit sweetness. Not what Petrus does best. Too light and thin to make a decent impression.
