Bottle 33cl. @local Lidl supermarket. Poured into a tulip glass. Clear medium amber, tall foamy white head, light patchy lacing; very slow development of the aroma, malts, bread, biscuit, fruity, yeast; taste is medium sweet and bitter with a sourish fruity touch, malts dominate, yeast, with average duration, bittersweet finish, sourish fruit, spicy notes; creamy to oily texture, above average carbonation; enough complexity but nevertheless a bit dull and not the best example of the style.

Geen diepgang. Te zoet voor een blond, te waterig voor een tripel. Opvallende bitter/zure nasmaak. Een stevige dorstlesser, maar ook niet meer dan dat. Gaat na een paar slokken alleen maar vlakker smaken.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2016 When I first smelled I was surprised to smell some biscuit. But then... nothing to say, watery taste et consistency, Didn’t like it. A triple is supposed to be tasty, this is isn’t. And bad pretaste, the same as when you wake up and you’re very hungry, you’ve got this bad taste in your mouth... made good pancakes out of it, though.

Hazy golden orange with a two-finger pillowy bright white head that left a thick sticky lace. Aromas of lemon and orange peel, grassy hops, Belgian yeast, and black pepper. Flavors are similar, but not as sweet as the aromas would indicate. Modest bitterness offsets fruit and honey sweetness. Medium body, soft and smooth mouthfeel, lively carbonation, and a bright clear finish.

A little bit cloudy, yet stil transparant slightly yellow beer with a firm white layer of foam. It has an aroma which resembles a bit of champagne, which reveals the spontaneous fermentation like a Belgian geuze. The taste however, is slightly bitter and resembles licorice. Unfortunately, not much of an aftertaste. Helaas verder weinig nasmaak.

33 cl bottle. Cloudy golden pour. Nose of pear, hard candy, and wheat. I detect some vanilla, has a rich malty texture and flavor with minimal hop influence. Is very easy to drink and balanced, not too sweet. Medium to full body, sticky texture, average carb., mellow finish, very clean and rich. A very good tripel, would recommend.
