Gouden Tripel. 750ml with a glass to match. Explosive opening, huge foamy white head (as pictured), with great lacing over a clear yellow body. Aroma is sweet, and slightly spiced, real bready, dried pear, with some aged champagne notes. Taste is sweet, a bit musky, vinegar, pear, cobwebs, tangerine, and bread. Lively bubbles, dry mouthfeel.

Pretty bland tripel...hints of yeast and coriander in the aroma with some sweet malt. Flavor is similar.

0.33 l bottle from Alko. Golden color very fizzy. Fruity and spicy aroma with clove, pepper, vanilla and herbal orange. The flavors of orange, clove, pepper and hint of herbal hops. Initially sweetish but finishes dry. Enjoyable but not very complex.

33 cl bottle. Pale golden colour and slightly hazy. Huge and creamy head. The aroma is a bit mild. A bit sharp spiciness from the yeast resembles witbier. Fruity citrus, hint of orange peel and bubblegum. It has some herbal hops but could have some more. It starts sweetish fruity and finishes quite dry and a not very bitter. Spicy and yeasty finsih with a bit solvent-like off-flavor. The flavor is quite light for a tripel. Smooth palate is light to medium bodied.

This beer almost exploded, lot’s of foam. Orange colored brew. Aroma is lemon, yeast. Flavor is yeasty, lemon, sweetness, some spices in the end. Simple and a bad, dirty aftertaste.

mmmm mm mmmmmmm. Happy beer! Poured with a big, frothy if a bit soap bubbly, fragrant, yeasty aroma. Delightful. Lots of flavor, but not too much. good balance. Bittersweet; more bitter than sweet. Champagney. Great body. Excellent finish. Including its strength, still almost a session beer.

330 ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden color, huge airy head. Alcohol-filled aroma with some citric notes. Initially sharp mouthfeel, but it mellows out in a while. Spicy flavor with lemon. High carbonation, medium body. Pretty straightforward for the style.
