2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jonas (4506) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUL 8, 2007
Bottle. Hazy yellow, lowish head. Honey, apple, citrus aroma. The fruit notes go again in the flavor, relatively light body - might be the high level of carbonation. Ends on a apricot and mango note. Clay retronasal.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 robinvboyer (2130) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2007
quite the complex tripel. Lots of flavours here, citrus, orange, lemon, ripe fruit, figs, and plums, and some yeast, and bread. wow. impressive for a 7.5%, nice finish, kinda dry. good beer!
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Solstice1222 (11) - Pine Hill, New Jersey, USA - JUL 4, 2007
I love Belgian beers! This one hurt me. If left a lot to be desired in all aspects. This was not a typical Belgian. It bordered on mediocre. I won’t do this one again.

Far too much honey sweetness.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 cab (866) - DENMARK - JUN 13, 2007
Bottle. Tasted with Dedollewaitor. Tart flavor, some lemon notes, bubblegum, brief hint of bananas and yeast. it had surprisingly little character for a Belgian triple.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dedollewaitor (9254) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2007
Clear gold/yellow with fine white head & good lacings. Yeasty and spicy aroma. Very spicy/harsh- bites your tongue. Overcarbonated - unpleasant spitzy/sprinkly in your mouth! Not very important or interesting triple!
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 IrishBoy (3265) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 28, 2007
Bottle, 11.2 oz, says Gouden tripel; Nose is yeast, fruitiness, spices, with a tart note; hazy urine yellow with a huge glass lacing off white head; flavor with tart fruitiness, spices, and a little funkiness. Not nearly a great tripel! And I have 4 other Petrus brews waiting to rate, hope they are better!
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 nick76 (3461) - Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 26, 2007
The aroma is spicy, piny, yeasty, soapy, and fruity. The appearance is hazy pale gold with a few floating particulates and a huge head. The flavor is like the aroma and quite decent. The palate is a little thin. Overall a good but not great beer.
