750ml. bottle. Clear golden color with a huge. sudsy white head. Somewhat funky, metallic aroma with a bit of sweet malt and tart apple. Flavor starts off mildly sweet, before turning bone dry. Yeasty, biscuity malt with a touch of hops on the finish. Very drinkable, but not very exciting.

Served up just on cool. Pour ended with more head than beer, a large chalice and I still failed to empty a small bottles worth in. So much carbonation meant this head just kept on growing. A good inch out the brim and it finally collapsed, spilling over the sides of the glass. The body of beer - all 2 inches of it - a hazy pastel yellowy gold. Lovely, spicy aroma that just oozes ripe Summer fruits. Apple, pear, guava and pineapple, just a little honeydew and some lime juice tickle the nostrils well. After finally chewing off that head of froth in the mouth it went. Quite sweet, fruity and slightly tart as it goes. Body is light, the carbonation spritzy and the alcohol is a little evident in the mouth and more so in the swallow. Nice level of sweet fruits like pear and guava matches the aroma. Vanilla and dusty grain tones soften it and a grassy bitterness gives it a nice peak in back where it dries out somewhat. Good length of tart fruits and warming alcohol. Slight detergent soapiness develops and lingers in the mouth to be its only downfall. Otherwise this wasn’t too bad a drop. (33cL, 29/06/08, Int’l Beer Shop, W. Leederville)

Holy foamer batman, thats some serious head.
A serious, tal, fluffy head pour from this fizzing out of the bottle tripel. Aroma is of pears, wheat, very farmhouse-ish (I’m positive that isn’t a word, but its my rating & my opinion damnit). A good aroma, and a good look. It tastest good, and bad. Hard to describe ... good flavors but kind of deosn’t sit well immidiately in the beer guy. Some grass, citrus, hops, lemon, yeast, maple syrup, brown sugar are just some of the flavors. However I agree that honey is quite prevelant in this beer.

Bottle. Poured cloudy yellow with a large fizzy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate yeasty and tart citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Medium sweet citrus flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate of moderate duration. Not great solid beer.
