Beer is clear, gold color with a huge, frothy, white head. Medium body, the texture is watery. The aroma is interesting: Malty with light notes of toasted grain, hoppy. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bittersweet, moderately warm finish. Simply beer.

Bottle. Nose-honey/mead. Body-hazy dark yellow with a thick ring of bubbles. Smells like a mead, tastes like a mead. Taste-honey, lemon, watered down, vinegar. This is a decent mead and a slightly shitty triple.

Bottled. Pours a clear, medium golden color. Aroma is somewhat yeasty with a bit of grain and spices. Full flavor of grains, yeast, and spiciness. Typical tripel. Enough flavor to go around.

Clear golden colour with a large but fast dissapearing head. Aroma is citrussy and the flavour although Tripel-y ! is a little dull.

jefcon (1104) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 19, 2006
Light golden with an airy and rocky white head that sticks around a good long while. Yeasty aromas with an emphasis on crisp apple, brown bread, and honey. Some alcohol and bitterness on the initial bite before reaching a plummy, rich, nearly cherry fruit. The long finish ends with a final dry salute to a very decent tripel. Marks off for a lack of complexity and a little thinness.
