33cl Bottle at home on 27th December 2013 - Christmas gift. Pours deep gold with yellow tinged frothy non-lacing head that lasted all the way. Yeasty, citric and fruity aromas. Hoppiness with grass, pepper and citrus in-mouth. Brief lactic note. Pepper very much in evidence in a tangy, spicy finish. Plenty of body and an engaging texture amid strong carbonation.

Yellow pour with abundant white head. Aroma is light but somewhat yeasty and fruity. The flavor is semi-sweet fruit, peach, apricot, yeast.

Disappointed. Not horrible, but a bad representation of belgian beer. Too light and watery for me. More on par with something I might give to someone who doesn't like beer but wants to start drinking Belgians. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

cloudy bright golden colour, huge white head; aroma and taste of lemon, some honey slightly roasted brown sugar and well ballanced hoppy bitterness and maltyness; somehow less bodied, a bit water feeling, but otherwise drinkable

Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a big frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet malts, yeast. A simple but pleasant aroma. Also, pretty easily drinkable for a Tripel.

Bottled, 33 cl. Lively carbonated opal golden brew with a big fizzy white head on its top. Lemony-bready nose. Tasteing starts sharp followed in the dryish middle by lemon, bread and mild honey. Somewhat warming, sweetbitter finish with herbs and lemon again. Correct, not bad.

Shared a 33cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a almost clear golden colour with a white lacing. Aroma is alcohol and light citrus. Medium to high lively carbonation and medium body. Taste is bitter with a dry end. Overall is not a bad beer but don’t add much.

ElManana (204) - Scheldewindeke, BELGIUM - OCT 15, 2013
Faint aromas (even after a swirl) of bubble gum and cookie dough malt, yeast, lemons, and grain/straw (somewhat dryly hoppy, like a pilsner), with hints of ginger. Nice thick head that never fully diminishes on a clear yellow liquid. Medium body, slightly dry, barely sweet, slightly acidic, finish is both dry and lemony-acidic. Somewhat thin flavors; yeast, lemons, dry grain/straw, with some bready malt. Not bad, but rather drab and uninteresting for the style, could use more malt character and a touch more sweetness to offset the acidity.

From a bomber in a snifter glass. Pours lacey gold. Aroma is hot alcohol and fizzy malt. Flavor is slightly is a bit like an actual champagne of beers. Light, dry, fizzy, and slightly sweet. Pretty good but unexceptional.
