3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 rlaw (715) - Alabama, USA - JUL 5, 2011
Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a medium-sized white head and quite a bit of lacing. Aroma and flavor are sweet, spicy, yeasty, honey, citrus, vanilla. Quite a bit of candi sugar. Mouthfeel is thick. Finish is quite sweet -- too much so, I think. Needs some more bittering balance.

33cl bottle from Aldi.
Too much frothy head. Maybe the bottle was too warm. Slighly hazy blond colour. Quite a decent triple
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Defreni (1781) - Husum, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2011
Flaske: Gusher, helt klar gulorange øl med et kæmpe luftigt skumhoved. Duft af gær og en smule malt. Lidt kedelig trippel men bestemt drikbar. Karbonationen er bløde store bobler, uden at være aggressiv.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Koelschtrinker (6544) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 10, 2011
Hefiger, deutlich saurer Antrunk.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Hair6a11 (931) - Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Bottle; pour is murky gold with a frothy white head that retains well; spotty lacing into this tulip. Similar to the blond; slightly fruity, slights spicy, florals, and sweet breads, I suppose. The flavor profile is similar; its a brew that is the opposite of complex. Its a bit sweeter than I would like; I wasn’t impressed, but it was certainly drinkable.
3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Mario61Aler (21) - Ohio, USA - MAY 16, 2011
Poured a light Golden with a HUGE white head that threatened to overflow the tulipm glass. The head lasted several minutes with excellant lacing.
Very little in the aroma, small hops and yeast and malt, some fruitiness maybe bananas.
Taste was better than the aroma. Was well balanced between bitter and sweet and left hardly any after taste.
This entered and left your mouth cleanly, light bodied, well carbonated.
Overall this is a drinker! reminded me of a Duvel but muted in aroma and taste, wasn’t filling at all, could have drank a sixer of this. My only regret is that I bought it in a singe 330 ml bottle. I detected no sediment in this bottle even though it said it was refermented in the bottle. A wonderful Tripel.
Had this after eating some spicey burritos with red sauce on them.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Golden colour with huge white head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass and peaches. Malty, slightly fruity taste with citrus, peaches, grass and a spicy finish with hints of coriander seed and a touch of marzipan. Medium body, not overly sweet. Clean, fresh and quite nice.
