Aroma is grainy, sharp and acidic. Light golden color with a massive, lasting three finger head. Flavor is very yeasty with a bannana mash sweetness that while good isn’t very tripel-y. Finish is smooth and hearty with just a tinge of sweet bread.

Beer pours a nice light yellow color with a large amount of foamy white head. Aroma is yeasty and doughy and also caramely. Flavor is sweet and smooth, not too caramely or citric, but rather a decent balance for a very smooth drink. Overall, not a great beer, but definitely a drinkable one.

This beer has a yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is spicy.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hobgoblin (163) - St-Épiphane, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 11, 2006
Bottle. Deep golden color with big soapy white head. Yeast and flower aroma. Taste of yeast, flower and honey. At the begening, the alcohol was very strong in the after taste but more this beer get warmer, more the flowery taste comes out and the alcool taste comes out. quite special.

Not a bad beer, but not my favorite. Has a bit of a lemon flavor, nice head. If you like carbonated beer, you might want to give this a shot, as it is highly carbonated.

Aroma was of sour lemons. Flavor also was a medium sour lemon flavor but the bitter bite usually noticable with these for me was mild. Yellow body with decent white head. Good brew part of the 6 bottle gift pack the wife bought me for Christmas.

Bottle (Gouden Tripel): Pale golden, fairly clear, visible sediment, large pillowy white head, fairly nice lacing, moderate carbonation.   Pale bready nose, surprisingly somewhat grainy.   Where is the fruity floral aspect?   Bready, yeasty on the tongue, very slight pale fruit skin.   WTF, this is a tripel?!?!   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Uber boring this beer is... very uninteresting.   Not bad, but where the hell is the Tripel?   Glad I got this one for free... well sort of.   Lacks character and depth for a Tripel.   Its barely even a Blonde.   Whatever...
