Bottle courtesy/shared with Naka. Pours a hazy light gold with thick, 2-finger, foamy white head. Nose is spicy apple with slight pear. Not very prevalent nose. Sort of muted by some light oxidation and CO2. Slight funk. Taste is clean and dry with apple,bread, biscuit and spicy yeast. A mild, every so slight funk in the after. Good stuff.

Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Hazy orangy golden. Lots and lots of thick white head. Longlived.
Aroma: Citric, fruity. Some hops and sourness.
Taste: Lemony, almost sour. Hops and yeast. Warming.

Jun 18, 2008 33cl bottle from Habersham Liquors (Savannah, GAa). Pours a very dark golden honey-caramel color with a thick, frothy one-finger white head. Good head retention. Smells sweet, of ripe, dark fruit, honey, faint hints of apple. Flavor is strongly of ripe fruit, caramel, candy sugar, toffee, and candied apples. A very subtle, woody, oaky flavor is present on finish. Interesting tripel.

Jun 12, 2008 0.33l bottle. Clear yellow color with huge fluffy head. Nice lacing down the glass. Aroma of grass, yeast and citrus. Taste is bitter and lemony with same sweetenes in the background. Maybe a bit too acid. Highly carbonated. Good Strong Belgian Ale.

Jun 6, 2008 Tap. This is a more hoppy or bitter triple than usual. It lacks some of the citrus and smoothness of a St Bernadus for example. It is still a good beer but not in the same league as higher rated triples. The Belgian yeastiness is subdued as well.
