3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared 750 ml. bottle, poured to snifters with a clear, mahogany color, with a modest layer of off white, froth & bubbles head foam, and dots & dashes of lacing. The aroma started with a fleeting vegetal hint, then continued with a dominant gingerbread scent. The taste was sweet, caramel, dark fruit & raisin, spiced-dark breadiness, some alcohol, and low but lingering hop bitterness. Medium bodied, but a little thin on the tongue at times. Decent holiday faire nonetheless.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle. Pours an dark, clear amber color with a fluffy tan head. Lots of lacing left on the glass. Aroma of toasted bread, cardboard, spice, and prunes. Taste is lacking, sweet carmel malt and faint dark fruits. Sweet, malty, sugar water on the palate. Overall, just ok...for $8.99 worth a try, but would not recommend to others.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a clear red beer with minimal saturation. Has a brown head that disappears quickly.
Smells sweet and spicy, has a hint of bourbon somehow.
Tastes spicy. Leaves a spicy palate also. Clove is really dominant here.
I would only recommend this if you like spicy/clovy beer.
Personally it’s just really not my taste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, 75cl. Pours beautiful amber rubin-red color with a big, although airy head. Moderate lacing. Aroma is light roasted malt, dried fruits (raisin), caramel, cinnamon and licorice. Malty, sweet, caramel and sugary flavor from start to finish, where it meets subtle and modest hob bitterness. Little spice and dried fruits in between as well. Medium bodied, creamy texture, well above average carbonation. A little too lively perhaps.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
75cl bottle. Dark red/brow with small head.
NOSE : quite funky and not your typical winter brew when it comes to aromas. There are dried raisins and other cooked fruits in the background. On top there is this surprising aroma of tea. When shaken it reveals more distinctive aromas of toffee and licorice. Tart and some delicate burned notes. Nuts and milk chocolate.
SIP : medium bodied with creamy texture and moderate carbonation. This beer seams a bit oxygenated. Overall flavors are mild. It is sweet but not cloying. In the middles some dry burned notes add up to the sweet layer. Sweetness continue till the end where it meets bitter malts and hops notes. Flavored with dark fruits and spices like cinnamon and clove. Yeast reveals flavors of smoked cheese but delicate. The aftertaste is mud like with ester acidity.
OVERALL : the beer seams flat. Mild and hides well the alcohol. Nothing exiting though. That would be my last one.
