Bottle from argo0. Clear amber body with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is cherry, golden raisins, bread and honey. The flavor is mildly sweet, light spice, light tartness with caramel, candi sugar, berries, banana and bread. Medium body with soft carbonation and slightly bitter and tart finish. Pleasant.

Bottle from Bev Mo La Mesa. I was expecting a bit more. Poured a deep golen color with a massive head. Had almost a sour note to it......not a big fan.

Hazy bronze/amber with a fizzy, 3cm, light tan head that expires quickly. Simple brew. Dark berries, pine trees, toasty malt, and some winter spice. Dry finish. Medium body, balanced. Too light on the palate. Unimpressive.

Rocky red pour with a seductive whiff of barrels and sour juicy fruit. Certainly looks the part, and festive with it. Twigs of sediment for the foolhardy. Lines the glass lacily. Shares Palm and Badger’s sourly metallic yeasty sharpness. Fruity, dryish and aromatically boozy. Maybe a touch of bread and cherry-stone tartness. A little lightweight for a winter brew, but a refreshing variation.

Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BB Sep 09). Reddish orange. Nutty caramel aromas. Slightly sweet malts and light tart finish. Not overly interesting and let down by the thin slightly metallic finish.

Bottle at 48 degrees. Poured hazy brown with a large foamy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet malty aroma. Medium body with a thin texture. Medium complex sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
