COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Caramel-red beer of high fermentation. This Christmas child of the Petrus family is only brewed throughout the month of November. Its soft aroma is the perfect start for cosy holiday season.

Deep amber/brown color with a towering head. Spicy yeast aroma with banana and orange. The taste went decidedly downhill with a slightly sour malt taste. It’s like a really weak and tart gueuze sourness. All the Belgian qualities (bread, yeast, fruit) are gone. Just a weird sourness. Blah.

Sweet yet sour aroma, some brown sugar. Pours light brown to dark blonde with a big white head. Some fruit, citrus, brown sugar/caramel, with a sourish flavor, reminded me of a saison, a little dry too.

Poured a clear brown hue with a white hed that had good retention. Seemed to be almost sour. It had some fruit notes but in general it was rather sour. very disappointed.

I had this beer at a bevmo tasting in Laguna Niguel, Calif. Amber, fizzy up front that smooths out later. The flavor is slightly fruity

Amber with a huge head that dissapates quickly. Bitter hops and some citrus. Dusty and yeast with some notes of bread. A little sour. Medium bodied with a dry, citrusy finish.

Shared at thedm’s. Coppery amber color out of the bottle with a big, off-white head. So carbonated that it was almost distracting on the tongue. Dark fruity sweetness with thin brown sugar. This was a typical belgian ale when I was expecting something special for the season.

not quite what I was hoping for. I sense malts with taste of citrus, caramel and mild. hops are decent but not outstanding.
