hazy crayola brown color with a soft off white head which quickly fades away.
odd aroma of co2, umami, brown sugar, raisins, earth and dusty pickling spice.
the palate is on the sweeter side though it finishes dry and slightly bitter. the flavor is a mix of the aroma and musty dampness, artificial sweetener and yeast which wants to linger into the aftertaste.
medium bodied and dull in the mouth. 6/3/5/3/12/2.9

Color is a cherry red pour. Somewhat spicy winter, but not overpowering. Rated 5/8/04

Amber pour. White head. Honey, wood, balsamic vinegar aroma. Flavor has prunes, balsamic, malt and honey. Skip it. Damn.

75 cl bottle shared with friends, nice brown/reddish colour with unstable white head. Smell: yeasty, alcohol. Taste: orange peel, orange, yeasty, medium sweet, apricot, some alcohol. Not much rafined palate but decent ale!

Pours dark amber with white head. Micro sized bubbles retain well.
Nose has a pleasant funky baked dessert component. Reminds me of dark german chocolate cake with raspberry filling. Glazed donuts too.
Palate is raisin like, sweet, juicyfruit gum, and a nice sourness in the mix.
Finish is sweet and sour.

Bottle. Fruit, malt and weak yeast in aroma. Unclear amber colour with beige head. Very, very dry with a bitter finish. Flavour almost disappears. Weak wood and hops. No sweetness.

Bottle [330ml] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o of HogTownHarry. Pours a murky deep amber with a large long-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty and spicy, dry as well, along with caramel malt. Flavour of malt, spices, alcohol and Belgian yeast. Slightly astringent finish. Quite carbonated. Medium bodied. Not great, just good.
