3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Bierboutique Ølwechsel, Frankfurt. Hazy deep golden with a small head and some particles. Sweetish bready aroma. Flavours of bread, slightly spicy, hints of rye. A bit watery. Not my favourite style, but not bad as such.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Ceramic mug. Thick head. Lightly hoppy, minerally nose. Pale malts and a soft body. Herbal hops but low bitterness, as is typical for landbier. It’s easy drinking but misses the key pleasure points.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft @ brewpub. Served in lidded stein. Has nice thick white head with scattered lacing. Golden color. Aroma is farm fresh country beer, earthy and woody malts. Body is too thin but is a nicer beer than the Schwartz kellerbier. Not super flavorful but has nice pale malts and tastes like fresh grain kernels. Some minerals too.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 (draught at the brewery) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet pale malt aroma, accompanied by shy herbal hops and a whiff of barnyard. Medium-sweet flavour; pale malt character, slightly chalky taste with herbal notes; light bodied; medium-dry malty finish with a light hoppy bitterness. Clean, but nothing special.
