4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had this on tap at Bazi, Hawthorne, Portland. Pale straw with white head. Silky smooth flavors and aroma were divine. Very pleasant clean, dry, hop nip. Quality Belgian characteristics. Surprised me it was a strong ale.
I told my friend this can’t be made in the USA (too good) .
We came back next day to get more and it was gone.
I’m jumping on this if I ever get the chance again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Strong Belgian yeast aroma with some spice. Clear apple juice/straw color with great lace. Light fruit -- pear and peach -- aromas. Good bitter, earthy aftertaste. Thin-medium body. This could be a Belgian lunch-time brew. The yeast notes are perhaps a bit too strong. But really a solid brew.
