2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy pale blond color with compact head. Light aroma of plastic and wheat. Dry mouthfeel; some wheat flavor with mild spicy character (coriander), light grass; correct bitterness.
Not bad, but simple.

Draft at ncbc. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a loose white head and light lace. White pepper, clove, and overripe banana on the nose. Hm. Creamy medium body with wooly carb. White pepper on the mid palate with overripe banana coming out. Dry finish. Kind of scattered.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
On tap at Muu-Muu’s, pours a clear straw with a medium white head. Aroma brings out straw above anything - not much else. Flavour is very weak, bringing out notes of straw and cracker. Very uninspiring and watery, even for a wit. Probably pFriem’s worst. Not good but inoffensive.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a moderate white head on it. Nose was rather yeasty to me with some hints of citrus coming through off it. Taste was slightly sweet with the citrus coming through here as well. Tasted very much like summer, and was a nice drink on a warm day.

Tap at Pfriem, Hood River, 24/05/13.
Hazed pale yellow with a thin white head.
Nose carries light burnt note, lemon zest, pinch of spice, herbal qualities.
Taste comprises lemon rind, corriander, herbs, grass, sugars.
Medium bodied, crisp finish.
Decent enough wit, clean and refreshing in the finish.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap... Poured cloudy, pale yellow with a thin white head. Par for style, maybe just a little on the sweeter side. All the yeast spice with citrus brightness and floral tones along with a creamy wheat presence. A little too yeast on the nose, but cleaner on the palate.
