The head is ok, the body black. It smells thin, a bit darkmalty, watery. The taste is watery, a bit malty. It looks good and full bodied, but is the contrary, boring. 10/6/7/6/9/6

500mL can, pours a dark brown. Bready malt and toasted. Flavour similar, with bready malts, toasted, and sadly some metallic.

Can - Light dark malty notes. Deep clear brown with a decent beige head. Light caramel and dark malty notes. Sweet and dark, decent.

Medium brown, no head. Mellow caramel, toast nose. Thin body, very thin. Nothing going on here, just a lame supermarket beer.

mcberko (13894) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 25, 2016
500mL can, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out toasted bready malt and toasted nuts. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malts and toasted nuts. Watery palate, with not much going on. Uninspiring.

Aroma is bitter german malts, caramel, fig, and slight tart. Taste is roasted malts, toffee, and slight metallic flavor from the can. Finishes with slight tart and a bit of earthiness. Appearance is a clear brown with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

Flaska @ Backstage, Varberg. Mörkbrun öl med ett smutsvitt skum. Dofter och smaker av karamell, nöt och mjölkchoklad. Något tunn i kroppen.

Draught at Beefeater Inn, Göteborg. Dark brown beer with a small beige head. Caramel and bread aroma, fruity notes, chocolate, cocoa, some toffee. Chocolate and caramel flavor, brown sugar, licorice, some fruits. Too sweet.

UXO (1447) - CANADA - DEC 16, 2015
Appearance: clear deep amber with one finger of dense light tan head, good retention and patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: muted, caramel, roasty grain, grassy, nutty, light smoke, metallic. (5/10) Taste: moderate-low sweet, moderate bitter. (5/10) Palate: medium-light body tending to watery, moderate-low carbonation, off-dry slightly smoky and metallic finish. (3/5) As usual, a schwarzbier that leaves me less than impressed. It’s just not a very interesting style at the best of times, and this isn’t the best, by a long shot. It’s drinkable, just not exciting. (11/20)

Palatable but bland a bit offputting. The pour is a dark, murky black with a thin beige head. Nose is roasted malts, light cocoa, skunk? Light malt base with a mild bitterness on the finish, lack of sweetness.
