Smells light, another nice pil. A present hop bite but not too strong. A quite dry finish that makes this tasty tasty.

Compared to most German Pilsener Beers this one has some character. I think the trick is to get a fresh one since the green bottle has the unfortunate habit of changing the taste. Anyway: The beer has a nice hoppy aroma to it. It has a refreshing effervescent mouthfeel that highlights the hoppy taste. It is nothing to crazy but for a German Pils Beer it really has an edge. This is something you can drink all night.

Richly hoppy, with a lot of noble character and a long, dry finish. Balanced by a pleasant, if delicate, pale malt character. Recommended for fans of north German pils.

Geruch sehr pilstypisch-frisch.
Der Geschmack ist schön frisch-süßlich und feinherb. Sehr schön blumiges Bier, frischer Nachgeschmack, langanhaltend und sehr angenehm.

Light nose but the hops come through here as well as in the taste. Light body but nicely bitter. This reminds me of Jever very much, one of my fav German pils. Check this out: the label on the bottle has a small star that turns green when the beer is between 6-8 degrees Celcius, so you know if you are drinking at the brewer recommended temp. A marketing gimick for sure but this is a good idea. I know I’d like to know that I’m enjoying my Stone Imperial Russian Stout at 55 F or not.

My standard drink. You get it everywhere, it’s cheap and it tastes ok. What else do you want?

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2010 Pours clear golden with big fluffy white head leaving nice lacing. Slightly sweet malty and strongly hoppy aroma with notes of floral and herbs. Round mouthfeel, flavor is a bit sweet malty and fruity with hoppy tones. Lean acidy sour palate. Finishes first sweet turning into a very nice bitter dry bite. Excellent pilsner.
