bottle from kevnic2008! Cloudy golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Very strange consistency - jelly-like, really weird - I’ve never had a beer like this. Flavourswise ok, not bad - but the mouthfeel.... probably something wrong with my bottle.

Green glass bottle by 08.03.2013. Weird to see a HW in green. Nose is yeasty with some lemonade and light esters and phenols, pours an ugly cloudy brown-orange with a rocky beige head. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet, strong mineral character enhances the bitterness. Very crisp, dense, a lot of CO2 here. Medium body and overall a little bland.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 06.07.2010
Murky yellow-orange colour. Aroma has ashy banana and some vanilla – feels like Aventinus! Palate is rather high on CO2. Flavour has ashy banana and vichy‐like feeling due to the CO2. Decent.

2011-05-26, draught in Bernsheim, 7-3-6-2-12=30
Cloudy blond color; generous and compact head. The spicy aroma is penetrating, elegant and very appreciated. There is a high degree of carbonation, therefore the mouthfeel is smooth; it’s also dry, with a quite nice wheat flavor, spicy; the bitterness is on the low side, the final is rather simple. Fairly well brewed.

2010-11-11, draught at Pfungstädter Brauereigasthof, 6-3-6-2-11=28
Cloudy blond color. Nice spicy aroma, cloves. There is some sweetness to round up the body, then a quite evident spicy character, while there is almost no fruitiness; correct bitterness level, and the final is quite dry. I prefer fruity Weizen, but it’s not bad.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, some citrus, mild yeast as well as some toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite similar, but is more to the fruity side.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity yeasty wheat malty spicy banana aroma. Sweetish fruity wheat malty spicy banana and citrus flavor. Has a sweetish wheat malty spicy yeasty finish with citrus hints in the aftertaste

33o ml bottle in Germany. Poured hazy lemon yellow with a full thick white head and lost of yeast moving around. Light aroma of sour yeast, lost of coriander and slight banana. Tastes of banana and yeast. Not a thick flavor, but quite refreshing. Quite a spritzy mouthfeel as well. Ends light and nice. A different Hefe for sure.

Pours hazy orange amber with huge off white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, smoke, bananas, hay, caramel and herbs. Crispy acidy pleasantly lean mouthfeel. Fruity, slightly sour, sweet, hoppy and yeasty flavor with notes of smoke. Acidy fruity lean palate. Finishes with a nice sweet tart bitter aftertaste.
