Draft sample at the brewpub. Nice amber pour with a small offwhite head. Pretty non-existant aroma and relatively light flavor. Big malt notes by design.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap @ brewery. Amber appearance with a tan head. Somewhat toasty, caramel, toffee, mild grassy/earthy hoppy aroma. Sweet toffee forward, sort of reminiscent of an English bitter, with a higher hop content though it’s still pretty tame by American standards. Cracker, toast, earth notes.
