5000 (2400), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA May 6, 2006 Bottle stolen from the WBC in Seattle: Black in color, moderate foamy off-white head, spotty lacing. Lightly roasted malts, slight lactose, a bit of charred wood or campfire. Slight milk sugar flavor, roasted malts, but not all that robust. A lighter example of a sweet stout. Moderate body and mouthfeel. Pale hop on the finished, otherwise remains as a light milk stout. Clean, enjoyable, but not all that big. Almost like a sessionable Sweet Stout. Thanks mattbob for stealing it!
