A deep dark black color with a subtle head. Liked the aromas of coffee and oats. This had a great flavor and the chocolate malt was really deep in this brew. Great beer.

Oct 22, 2005 Draught at Phantom Canyon. Pours near opaque with brown hints and creamy tan head with creamy lacing. Coffee-dark roasted malt aroma with background hop notes. Acidic bitter hop dark chocolate coffee malt flavor with oat notes. Dark and thin creamy palate.
