Aged for 9 months in Stranahan’s whiskey barrels, Winston Smith’s is a deep amber hued English-style barley wine with aromas of vanilla, oak, and dark fruit. Caramel and toffee flavors blend together with bold notes of whiskey delivered in a smooth body followed by a malty finish.

Bottle, thanks BeerandBlues2. Dark brown hue. Darker fruits, slight woodiness and booze in the aroma. Toffee and sweet dark fruits in the flavor, caramel, and a kiss of alcohol in the flavor. Slick, thicker body, pretty viscous.
