COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A local beer designed to appeal to a wider audience with its less filling effect and lighter taste for a year round flavor. Blondy look for those long summer evenings and a casual image to accompany any meal.

Can
Blond color; poor head. No aroma; dry mouthfeel, dry cereals flavor; correct bitterness. It’s a clean Lager, but just a notch above a NA.

Pull top can thanks to Per. Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of apples, some citrus, perfumy. Tastes dry and perfumy with a touch of sweetness on the finish. This is not a typical pale lager.

Straw colour. No head. Bit of skunky soured hop. Spicy character with a bland doughy pale malt underpinning. Quite fizzy.

Can via Per. Bright yellow-gold with scattered spittle head. Aroma is sweet and simple. Can has prevented any substantial problems but it’s still an uninspired corn flake aroma. Slick mouthfeel. Sweet, slightly syrupy. Strange flavors, almost like chick peas. Does not finish clean and yet remains a "not bad."

Can from Oakes and Beershine. Thanks!! Pale gold color. Very malty aroma with not much else. Flavor is watery and very malty. Not good.

Canned@omhper. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, some rubber and mild notes of malts. Flavour is quite grassy with quite sweetish malty notes. Mild flowery hops as well. Earthy. Quite clean, but also boring.

I was hoping to like this beer, after all Philadelphia is the ancient name of my new stomping grounds here in Amman Jordan. However, like most pale lagers this was a disappointment. Pours a pale yellow with a quickly disappearing fizzy head. A flat and slightly metallic nose. Like most pale lagers a light bodied carbonated mouthfeel predominates. The taste while super cold has a neutral flavor with a slight hint of grains. As it warms, more breadiness and a bit of skunk develop. Not bad for the price and the location too bad people don’t seem to drink stouts or porters here.
