May 8, 2008 Bottle. Pale golden-yellow body with a clean white head. Odd briny aroma with a note of yellow mustard. The wild ride continues as fish tones emerge in the flavor. Smooths out a bit after the senses adapt. Some notable spicy hop flavors plus sweet doughy malt form the base here. But a strange grainy, phenolic quality is supplying the off characters. I really, really wanted to like this. But it just ain’t happening.

Apr 27, 2008 Bottle, which is sleek and hip. Pours nice copper color with medium lacing. The beer is nice but like the others has a dull earthy aftertaste that I can’t put my finger on. It is however a good session ale that I wouldn’t turn down if offerred.

Apr 25, 2008 Bottle: pours a clear, golden amber color with a frothy white head, aroma is sweet and also a little yeasty, bitter, hoppy flavor, thin mouthfeel, a nice session beer.

Apr 23, 2008 On Tap: Little to no head to speak of. I didn’t detect much of an aroma from the beer. Taste wise it was good with some nice hop flavor along with some yeast. Very good lawnmower beer.
