This crisp, light-bodied, golden beer is the very definition of refreshment. The combination of premium German pilsner malts and American Noble hops aims to please your taste buds and satisfy your thirst.

Had on draft. Poured a clear, golden color. Aroma was grassy with faint sweet grain smell. Taste of herbal hops and a decent malt backbone.

Very drinkable, Philadelphia Brewing Company makes good beer at affordable prices, golden clear, large white head, a bit heavier than a typical "session," crisp and thirst quenching, hint of raspberry somewhere over a light hay malt. Surprising, good for the hot Philly summer

bottled - Very good, highly drinkable beer. A bit hoppier than I expected (but definitely in a good way). I’ll be drinking this one again (of course it doesn’t hurt that it’s also nostalgic since I grew up in Kensington).

Pours a lightly hazy golden/yellow with a medium foamy/bubbly head that left some spotty lacing. Aroma of hay, horse barn (but not in a funky lambic way), grainy bread, malty with a touch of some citrus. Flavor of cereal grains, grassy, hay, lightly floral and citrus notes. Some hop bitterness and flavor that lingers around. For some weird reason I was getting blueberry pie out of the flavor. No clue why.

This is a true local session beer that actually tastes good. You could easily throw back quite a few of these due to the low ABV. Malty aroma with a hint of hops. Flavor is grains, malts, a bit astringent, and a hop bitterness in the background. Not too sweet, not too dry. Call me crazy, but I liked this one.

Kenzinger, catchy name, catchy label, and probably a beer that will catch on locally as well. Blonde Ale is light on bitterness, malt/grain and lemon/citrus dominate. Kenzinger is lighter on alcohol than its Canadian Ale ’cousins’. Perfect lawnmower beer, and in the Philadelphia area that’s the type of beer the masses will consume. Happily consumed @ a Memorial Day party with all four Philadelphia Brewing Co’s brands in the coolers. Kenzinger was the most popular that day.
