Commercial Description:
Kenzinger is a quenching golden session ale that boasts a European birthright while displaying a certain Philadelphia sensibility. Kenzinger is crisp and smooth enough to refresh, but with a spirited, unforgettable flavor that delivers 100% of recommended daily taste bud stimulation. Brewed with pure pilsner malts, light on the bittering hops but loads of hop flavor and aroma; Kenzinger is bound to be your new standby.

Brewed in the USA..... On tap at the Devil’s Den in Philly !!! Pours a pale straw color with a small white head. Aroma of malts, grains and mild hops. Taste is much of the same with the addition of some grass. Mouthfeel is slightly bitter and finishes with some lingering dryness.

This was a stronger tasting beer than I was prepared for. Decent malting and a hop taste without the aroma, the beer was nothing special but not complete swill like I was expecting

Pours hazy golden-amber with a thick, white head. Mild citrus-spice hop aroma. Light on the tongue. Has a mild hop bite that lingers on the tip of the tongue. Wouldn’t call it special by any stretch, but you could do worse.

nice session beer. pours hazy gold with a fluffy white head. metallic nose of lemongrass (not crazy about the aroma...) but the taste is a well-balanced mix of hoppy and malty characteristics, with butterscotch and spicy hops coming to the foreground. finish is long and bitter, slightly astringent. mouthfeel is initially buttery but dries out as the hops flavor comes out.

bottle, via trade with imadeadguy, golden color with decent head, aroma has some malty hops, flavor is pretty well balanced, citric hoppiness with some bready malt flavors to round it out

Drank at The Continental Midtown in Philly. I was suprised how well it went with all my food. It wasnt anything mind blowing, but had just the right touch of hoppy bitterness and sweet citrus tang that refreshed my palate.

12oz bottle from some good folks at Swarthmore College - thanks, Steve! Hazy straw colored pour, with a modest head, not much retention. Aroma is fairly anonymous, a slightly fragrant yeast tang. Mouthfeel is fairly thin, some hops in the taste, but I do appreciate the dry finish.

A lovely Kolsh style ale.Good balance and easy to drink. Just a well made thirst quencher. A perfect stepping stone for your friends who drink macro rice beer.
