3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 auerbrau (2952) - Peace Dale, Rhode Island, USA - MAR 20, 2013
On tap at MOM’s - Doylestown, PA. Salt, mineral and light cracker aroma. Flavors are straightforward, simple and sharp. Sadly, the menu listed this as a Kolsch, so my perceptions were skewed, but the hoppiness was right on for a Helles, if a little generic. There was a slight harsh mineral bite to this that cut into the drinkability and the pale malt depth was a little shallow. Otherwise, clean and workable.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 boxofrane (1184) - pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Bottle from Wegman’s. Pours clear yellow with a medium sized white head, active carbonation. A nice looking lager. The aroma has a bit of grain, light grass, pretty tame but not offensive in any way. The taste has a nice little hop kick up front, some grassy flavors mid tongue.. and a dry finish. Not bad at all in the style.
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MarkSachon (332) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 24, 2012
12 oz bottle from the sampler case. Not much to say about this beer in the positive. So glad I at least got a free glass for buying the case.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jkwood04 (2288) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 16, 2012
On tap at the beer store. Pours copper with a lacy head. Aroma of lots of nutmeg and cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel, and some floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent pumpkin beer. Might not be the right beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mansquito (2494) - Nueva York, New York, USA - AUG 19, 2012
El Bar, Philadelphia: Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma is grain and hops. Taste is pretty much the same. It is very easy to drink quickly. It has more hops than does the archetypical Dortmunder. For some reason I was always under the impression that this beer was a golden ale. In any case, it is good to finally get this rating out, as I have had this many times over the years, but have only just now rated it.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very big almost gushing white head and a golden color. The aroma is light Pils malts and honey. A smooth flavor with some pepper, lemon and Pils malt. Nothing overpowering but it is pretty light and smooth.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Maltsoda (24) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Poured a pale gold, lots of tiny bits floating around, nice two finger white foam head. Citrus smell. Taste jumps around a bit with grass hop bitterness and a dryness to citrus sweet flavors that turn tart. Overall a good beer easy to drink.
