FROTHINGSLOSH (4785) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky brown color with chunks and a medium sized foamy beige head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dryish and dusty with nutmeg and cinnamon sugar. The flavor was dry and spicy with notes of cinnamon sugar, nutmeg, bread, dust and egg white. Long dry and spicy finish. Medium body. Sub par.

Medium amber-brown body, thin off-white head, spotty lacing. Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, pumpkin pie, and grainy malts. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, a little thin in the finish, spice is a bit grating over time.

From notes: Poured hazy nut brown, with a 1-finger bone-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin and spices, with a touch of butter too. Medium body, lightly fizzy with a mildly dry finish. Flavor has a light citrusy sourness up front, giving way to buttery pumpkin. The spices show at the back and linger in the finish.

Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out an ugly muddy/apple cider color with a small white head. Aroma is of burnt sugar, pumpkin spices, apple, and some cinnamon notes. Taste is lots of cinnamon spice, lots of clove, like what I’d imagine drinking a fall candle’s wax would taste like, of corse minus the texture.

don’t pour this into a belgian tulip...only enhances the rotten pumpkin patch smell...very akin to something regurgitated then re-swallowed. the taste isn’t quite as bad. i love spicy, bitter, dry brews....this really needs a touch of sweetness and creaminess. very thin. low ABV. very expensive. one of the worst pumpkinesque brews ever. and pretty much the worst brew i’ve ever had. and i love this brewery... :(

Draft at the tower. Pours hazy reddish brown with a small white head. The aroma is mostly spices with light pumpkin. The taste has light pumpkin puree, slight spice. Solid but crazy thin.

12oz bottle thanks to dmac! Pours a dirty orange/brown color with a fast fading thin foamy tan head. Appearance is not pretty. Tons of spice in the aroma. Cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, followed by some pumpkin, and caramel malt. Taste is slightly watered down. Some roasted carmel malt, cinnamon, lots of clove, hints of pumpkin bread, lemon, and grass.

pours a murky brown with a medium tan head. aroma is all ginger snap. flavor follows suit...its like i got one of those little paper bags with 3 ginger snaps in it for trick or treat from some seedy old woman who smells like death and ciggarettes. only mom isnt making me throw this one out. mouthfeel is a bit watery and the finish really thins out but lingers with that old lady’s ginger snaps.

12oz bottle via 6pack from Spirits Brick. Poured a chunky dark tea brown with a smaller foamy light beige head. Aroma had some initial notes of vegtables, nutmeg, lots of vanilla, some cinnamon, pumpkin pie meat and all spice. Body is watery with average carbonation and an odd aftertaste where the initlal notes fade almost instantly but then some spices linger. Flavor isn’t that good, getting some grain notes that qickly fade and become all all-spice, nutmeg, cinnamon. Blah rework this one PBC.

Happend to be at the brewery the day the bottled it. A very cinnamon smell. The cinnamon slightly overwhelms but I really don’t mind. It stll tastes really good. However, I did get a woodchip in my brew, doubt that was by design but who knows. Didn’t ruin it but gotta step up on the quality control
