I took a Philly variety case with me on a camping trip this past weekend and this beer was flat out the best in the case. Very tasty with a good balance of floral hops with a nice malty backbone. Went down smooth with a little heat at the end. Great label too!

Uncertian of the aroma, kind of good/kind of bad. Amber aooarence. Taste is kind of a mix of bad and good too. Nice body and complexity. Flavor is there but some parts of this beer are off putting to me.

It pours copper with a thick white head that slowly fades into lacing. The aroma is full of sweet hops. The taste isn’t quite of an IPA to me. It’s very clean and crisp as well as nicely balanced. However, it has more of a nice lager feel. The beer is tasty and the hops are subtly present but nothing really screams IPA here. Nevertheless, I find it drinkable and not that bad overall all be it an IPA or whatever.

355mL at a gas station in Ardmore. Best before date as 8/24/12. All right! Pours a clear deeper orange. Medium to larger off white, creamy foam. Webby, thick lace. Nose is dusty, cheesecloth, pine needles, some nice vanilla, even milk chocolate. Taste is dusty, nutty, astringent. Not fresh but the nose is still quite nice. Palate is dusty, very bitter, drying, tannic, near chemical bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Moriartys. Hazy dark orange amber pour with a huge froth head, though might be because the keg was just tapped. Big blunt hop flavors. Orange pith. Pinenuts. Strong alcohol taste. Not much aroma on the nose but strong bitterness throughout. Fuller than expected but not very complex.

Bottle to plastic glass. Poured a light yellow, with sparse head. Basic 1 dimension IPA. Maybe a bit on the watery side, but not bad overall.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very cloudy copper color with a small white head. A sweet caramel and hop nose, fruity. The flavor is a somewhat juicy caramel bite with some lingering bitterness, less late boil flavors more raw bitterness. Odd in some ways. Tastes like a hopped up amber ale with all early boil additions. Decent.

On cask at The Whip. Deep amber pour, frothy head. Floral aroma. Rich caramel malt with floral hops. A touch of biscuit was presence. I enjoyed it...I actually had two, and I almost never order two of the same beer....so that says something.

Pours a clear copper color with a white head. Aroma is piney/sprucey and spicy. Little spicy...slightly medicinal and metallic. Lively but a bit thin and the finish is dry and piney.
