3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Copper with a white head. Aroma is medium citrus and earthy hops with light grass, and light caramel malts. Medium, crispy body. Flavor is citrus, light grass, and medium biscuit malts. Finish has a nice hop bite. Very straightforward APA. Easy going with a proper amount of hopping to make this pale a go to beer.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear light copper body with a large frothy off-white head that took for ever to settle. Head like this makes me hope thereís not an infection. The nose seems OK though, some light citrusy hops over a slightly sweet and toasty caramel malt base. The flavor is pretty unexciting, lightly bitter citrusy hops with a toasty malt base. A little sweetness, but itís pretty well kept in check. Finishes with some minimal bitterness and some husky grain. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. About what Iíve come to expect for the style, rather bland and boring.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow gold color with small frothy white head. Aroma of piney and grapefruit hops, with a malt background of musty and slightly damp dried grains. Taste brings a crisp clean and semi-bitter bite of the hop notes - floral, pine and grapefruit, all backed by a slightly musty malted grain presence. Lighter side of medium bodied, slightly over carbonated.

12oz bottle, easy to drink hop flavored brew. I thought it was an IPA, balanced, good flavors, true apa style.

Easy drinking pale that satisfied the hop head in me. Nice crisp malt bill with piney hops (although a bit of a soapy finish).

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. American hops dominate the nose, citrus and some classic PNW tones though a little queasy. Hazy orange-amber pour with a foamy beige head. Taste only lightly sweet with some rindy, astringent bitterness (medium), an thereís some scratchy yeast way at the bottom that might indicate the primitive stages of an infection, but regardless, the malt is thin and the crystal unrounded. Like the extra warmth from the increased abv but the gritty mouthfeel detracts.
