whaleman (2157), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA May 8, 2008 Very light haze from ultrafine particulates and bright lemon yellow body with filmy white head. Interesting aroma of citrus peel and flowery herbs. Light rubber phenols. Flavor is doughy and estery with moderate citric tones. Nicely dry and light, but with ample flavor. Has a grainy bitterness similar to the Kenzinger. Better, but still a little rough. Great label and tribute.
beaconstreet (810), Washington DC, USA Apr 10, 2008 Green Rock Tavern, Fishtown. On the sweet side, to be certain, nice froth. Great style with the pencil on the beer tap paddle. DeadGuyFrank (300), http://westchesterbeer.com, USA Mar 20, 2008 Hazy, golden, yeasty, and delicious. Nice for the spring or summer....traditional wheat tastyness from the folks at the PBC. Like Hoegardeen, only made locally....cheers to that! adrian910ss (940), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 16, 2008 On draft at the GL. Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Yeasty aroma with hints of light spice, faint banana and clove. Taste of light spices, cloves and a touch of zesty lemon.
