Commercial Description:
The famous American poet Walt Whitman once described a particular Philadelphia sunset as consisting of, "...a broad tumble of clouds, with much golden haze and profusion of beaming shaft and dazzle." Sounds remarkably similar to our fragrant, satisfying take on the traditional Belgian white ale. Walt Wit's citrus and spice flavors deliver a transcendental drinking experience. Walt Wit is brewed with only a whisper of hops and a hint of herbs to set off the flavor of white wheat and oats.

Sorry to say, this was not good at all. Clear yellow, really lacking that wheaty flavor. Seemed like a cross of a wit and a cheap macro. Moved on immediately after finishing one of these.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very pale yellow color with an enormous foamy yellow-white head that lasts forever. The aroma was musty, earthy and had notes of cardboard, egg and citrus. The flavor was citric, tart and bitter with notes of musty vinegar. Citric finish. Very overcarbonated. A below average wit.

Blah...A slightly less than average wit. Aroma was not very strong. Spices including ginger and coriander mostly. Pour was an ugly murky dirty light gold with no head or bubbles. Taste was heavy on the coriander and orange peel. Very little carbonation with a citrusy sweet aftertaste. With more carbonation this beer would’ve been a lot better.

poured out a pale clear gold with a thin semi off white head that disipaited quickly. the body is light hazy clear with some bubbles rising up and around. the aromas are kind of weak with notes of lemongrass, a little floral, and weekly flavored nuts. it is thin bodied and a little sweet. i taste slight lemon, a little acidic, a hint of salt, and some yeast. it finishes watery and the aftertaste is not to prevelent. alright beer on a hot day to refresh you.

Light yellow, strong carbonation, thick white head. Dry lemon and wheat aroma, soft on the spice note, good start. Ultra light bodied, watery even, lime finish.

This was a nice American Style Belgian Wit. Drank with a lemon, tasted like a hoegarden or other generic begians. Good but nothing to choose if it is on tap with real belgian beers.

From the Jug at the GABF Colorado Convention Center, Denver 11/10/2008 Floral and slightly spiced aroma. Clear golden coloured and hoppy with a hint of dryness in a crisp malt finish.

Draft at Irenes. Pours an ugly greenish yellow hazed body sitting underneath a small foamy head with some decent lacing. Aroma of lemon zest and wheat up front with some light spice in the background. Flavor is spicey with lots of wheat and lemon. Very thin body but average carbonation. Actually better then I was anticipating
