This is a BIG beer. Mind Blowing ammounts of hops give this beer tons of flavour and aroma. Not for the faint of heart. The big mean cousin to the original Phillips IPA.

650ml bottle in a tulip. Pours golden/amber with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, some pale and caramel malts, a little toast, some dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness, but a very weird finish. Average texture. A decent beer but the weird finish ruins it.

On the pour..great colour and a strong head.I noted a much more bitter nose compared to their normal IPA. Well the Taste does not let down.Very good.Still has that flowery hop beginning ,and a slight creaminess to start, the middle has no time for malt, straight to hops, still touches on flowers and lemon, but much more bitter. My mood is Right for this..it is a great beer.

Many thanks to cfrancis for this bottle! Fresh smooth malty. Slightly sweetish, malty, floral mainpart, malty sweetness. Nice malty bitter aftertaste. Fresh and easy to drink!

650 ml bottle from the LCBO. BB Nov 14 2014. Lots of floating matter at the bottom of the bottle. Pours an apricot colour abundant white head, which dissipates after a minute or two..Nose is all tropical fruit and pine sap. On taste, first the deep fruity notes hit, followed by assertive, lingering bitterness. I get some brown sugar and toasty malt flavours. Not a bad IIPA.

Pours a slightly hazy pale amber colour with over two fingers of dense white head that last for quite a while before slowly fading and leaving a considerable amount of lacing in the glass. Aroma: Hops, citrus, banana, malt, wheat, sugar. Flavours: Malt, barley, caramel, biscuit and light hops. Mouthfeel: Very smooth and creamy. Overall: Although hops comes through in the aroma, malt is the main thing coming through in flavour. I don’t mind this as I like malt just as much as hops. However, someone hoping for a hop bomb might be disappointed.

Bottle. Dark yellow pour with a frothy head. Nose is hops and citrus. Flavor is medicinal with some nuttiness, hops, pine, and a bitter finish. Not a lot of malt balance here. Wouldn’t drink again.

This is the second brew I’ve tried from these guys and both have been spot on. Lord it’s pretty. Nice colour, great cap, with a creamy, steamed milk sheen. Beautiful lacing. Lots of malt on the nose, pine and sweet citrus too. Taste is a rich, syrupy caramel malt, a bit of spice, orange, pineapple, grapefruit rind and pine. Finish is dry with a really nice, subtle (read: dangerous) warm alcohol undertone. Great DIPA. Great label art too, and appropriate since this is a big beer.

A beautiful pour with a nice dark amber body and soft white pillowy head. As soon as uncorked the aromas started to fill the room, with citrus hops and a light caramel. Tastes begin with fairly bitter hops on the front of the tongue and then immediately slam into caramel malts, with a sweet cracker finish. Overall this might be the beer with the fastest taste transition from hops to malts as it moves through the mouth that I have ever experienced. Might be ready to declare this one the most balanced IPA I have ever drunk.

From a 650 ml bottle shared in Jackson, WY. Pours a clear light copper with an off white head. Grassy nose. Flavors of grapefruit, pineapple and spruce resins. Very bitter finish.
