Commercial Description:
This is a BIG beer. Mind Blowing ammounts of hops give this beer tons of flavour and aroma. Not for the faint of heart. The big mean cousin to the original Phillips IPA.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh hoppy nose with citrus and peach. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet caramel and distinct, perfumy hop accents that also leave a solid and rather dry bitterness in the finish. 291208

Bottled. Brownish amber, dense head. Lychee aroma. Sweet and malty. The hop flavour seems to accelerate when you sip the beer, and so does the maltiness. The mouthfeel is soft, and the finish packed with hop bitterness. An over-the-top beer that manages to be in control.

Golden-amber colour, with some odd floaties. Big hop aroma - woody, grapefruity with some chewy, nutty malt. Palate is more of the same, with the balance perhaps leaning even more to the hop. I like that they didn’t overcompensate with crystal or other dark malts - just let the light pale malt work with the big hops. Very nice.

Amber color; creamy head. It has the caramel-malt aroma of a Barley Wine or American Strong Ale. Indeed the flavor plays a lot on the bold caramel, the body is medium-strong, strong bitterness; the hop feeling is dry, resiny. The final is less sweet than an American one, but the hop is equally good. Very good.

Hazy amber with hoppy and citric notes. Flavour had loads of hops, lemon and malty notes. Flavour was hoppy with piney and caramel caramel notes. Finished bitter.i Like.
