4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
I was VERY happy with this beer. Actually not overwhelmingly hoppy-- in other words, I thought this was an unusually well balanced brew. Impressive, fluffy head that took a while to recede, golden body color. That familiar aroma of pine resin and citrus, without the slightest harshness. Fairly silky palate, but with a dry, sticky finish.
Paired this bottle with a nice plate of curried lentils with feta cheese and cherry tomatoes.

Clear golden pour with white head. Aroma is freshly crushed malts, grapefruit rind. Big citrus flavour, minor bready malt backing. Grapefruit lingers. Not too bad.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear golden orange he color with a white head that dissipates quickly and leaves some nice lace. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus and some sweet malts. Taste of grapefruit, pine, biscuit and a good amount to of pale malt. Great balance of hops and malts with a good bitterness on the finish. Excellent iipa.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pour a clear gold body with a nice one inch frothy off-white head that retained pretty well. The nose is a little heavy on the sweet malt for me, but there’s still plenty of citrusy and tropical hops to help balance things out. The flavor is overly sweet with a heavy caramel malt base. The hops are pretty tasty, lots of tropical notes, citrusy, very light bitterness. Finishes with some light bitterness and caramel malt. Medium bodied, a little clingy and sticky, with soft fizzy carbonation. Decent beer, but not big enough to hit Double IPA levels for me in anything other than ABV.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
65 cl bottle, Calgary, AB, Canada. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold. Thick head that settles down. Passionfruit aroma with a woody resin. Quite smooth given the strength, hop spice then a building and long resinous finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2oz sample, 8.5% (Coop Beer Training 5 of 7) Clear amber/golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Nose is super cascadey, pink grapefruit and orange abound. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet orangey, pink grapefruit notes with the spicy tang and hoppy bite that leaves you drooling for another sip. Partyrockin’!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours very light orange, clear with no head or lacing. Nose is fruity, clementines and maybe some grapefruit. Notes of citrus, clementines, some light cereal and a good amount of grapefruit bitterness. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Body is light/medium with lively carbonation. Nice effort.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours clear orange with a huge white hop head. Aroma of piney hops. The taste is very vegetal, almost like cut grass. There is a bitter taste to it that isn't well balanced. Very watery feel, thin beer. Properly carbonated.
