COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a BIG beer. Mind Blowing ammounts of hops give this beer tons of flavour and aroma. Not for the faint of heart. The big mean cousin to the original Phillips IPA.

I was VERY happy with this beer. Actually not overwhelmingly hoppy-- in other words, I thought this was an unusually well balanced brew. Impressive, fluffy head that took a while to recede, golden body color. That familiar aroma of pine resin and citrus, without the slightest harshness. Fairly silky palate, but with a dry, sticky finish. Paired this bottle with a nice plate of curried lentils with feta cheese and cherry tomatoes.

purchased in a 650ml bottle at LCBO. I was hoping to try this beer one day and was happy to see it finally in Ontario. It was piney, fruity, bitter, really good beer!

Golden-amber in colour with a large long lasting white head, very good lacing. The aroma has lots of malts, some citrus, some pine. The flavour is again malt first, then some fruity hops. Very bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes with a very long and large bittermess.

650ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario.

2014/07/08 - Pours a transparent, orange/copper colour with a large, frothy off white head that dissipates slowly an leaves ample lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus fruits, biscuit and mild caramel. Taste is light citrus, pine, and mild biscuit notes with a solid caramel backbone. Moderate to high bitterness and moderate sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium and slick with average carbonation and a bitter, earthy/metallic aftertaste. The metallic notes in the aftertaste were a little off-putting, but overall it was an enjoyable DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours left coast loud & proud with a beautiful fluffy two finger cap. The nose is deep woods pine & malt echoes. This is a fantastic double IPA with strong hopping & balanced malting. Its thick, its throaty, its leafy, its grapefruit sour meets malt syrup, its everything youd want from a double. I love their flying saucer hop circle ipa & am sad that its become scarce in Toronto. Its a great brew & Im glad to have finally stumbled upon it in at the LCBO.

650 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a golden colour with lots of little floaties and creamy white head with decent retention. Aroma is quite hoppy with tropical fruit, pine and some grassiness as well as some underlying caramel and bread. Flavour is grapefruit and lemon zest, pine resin, spicy-ish grass, some caramel and bready malt. Big body. Nice big beer.

Hazy orange gold pour. Medium white bubbly head with decent lacing. Citrus and pine aroma. Quite a bitter taste. Tropical fruit flavours, and quite hoppy. Good malt base for balance.

Slightly hazy light orange pour with a huge white head that leaves lots of lace. Nose is lots of grass, pine and citrus. Big levels of bitterness is balanced by a moderate caramel malt backing. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation. Nice big DIPA.
