| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2009 What might otherwise have been called weak or dilute was saved here by its vibrant carbonation. Pretty pour - deep cola brown, almost black, with one thick finger of a dense, off-white head. Hops on the nose, along with a slightly roasty note. That roast comes out more in the flavor, as the hops sink into the background, though they’re still pretty powerful. Mouthfeel is nice, again, thanks to that carbonation - and this is an all-around satisfying, if not intriguing brew. Certainly exceeded my expectations. Jonte (820), Gothenburg, Sweden
