Bottle @ tasting by jbrus. a clear dark brown colored beer, with a big beige head. The aroma is malty with fruits like cherries and raisins. A little hop. The taste is sparkling, with bitter hops, fruits like cherries and black berries. The aftertaste is bitter and fruity. The seems more like a double.

Bottle@UDRM. Tnx JBrus! The aroma has grassy hops and some black currant. Clear, brown coloured beer with an off-white, medium head. The taste is a bit sweet and bitter, has a hint of yeast, has black currant.

Bottle@UDRM. Black currant aroma. Brown colour, beige irregular head, no lace. Light sweet, light bitter, malty, light fruity. Tastes very much like an Abbey Dubbel.

What might otherwise have been called weak or dilute was saved here by its vibrant carbonation. Pretty pour - deep cola brown, almost black, with one thick finger of a dense, off-white head. Hops on the nose, along with a slightly roasty note. That roast comes out more in the flavor, as the hops sink into the background, though they’re still pretty powerful. Mouthfeel is nice, again, thanks to that carbonation - and this is an all-around satisfying, if not intriguing brew. Certainly exceeded my expectations.

Bottle. Brown with some red and a beige head. Aroma of hops, roast, a bit milky. Taste of hops, roasted malt, licorice, coffee, black currant. Maybe a bit too light bodied.

Blind tasting at Papsø’s
Dark brown color with amber shades. Very nice aroma, hoppy, sweaty, with light manure and chocolate, interesting. Medium body, with strong chocolate and caramel flavor, strong American hopping too. Powerful and good.

Time to catch up before BCTC. Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Throwdown. Thank to everyone who brought great beer and ribs and pickles and everything! Dark brown with ring. Roasted chocolate and fresh hop aroma. Roasted chocolate coffee with medium hop finish. Nice soft mouthfeel. Good. More of a hoppy porter than an India whatever.
