2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Nice looking amber, rocky white head. Good lacing. Usual British pale ale aromas: little hop, nice malt. Nothing too big. Taste is not that good. Malty bitterness at the end. Kind of dead in the middle. Fairly light overall. Oh well.

341 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, golden amber with a large, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Light fruit aroma with grain and caramel. Sweet malty flavour with fruit and caramel, ending on a mildly dry, bitter note. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slight hop and malt taste. Very smooth and easy to drink. Not a bad choice if you are serving beer to people who prefer a more neutral experience.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Visual: Pours clear light brown with a small dissipating head, a nice clean thin layer of retention, lots of varied speed/size activity.
Nose: sweet barley malt, some bread. (lvl-5)-pungency
Mid-palate: fizzy-tingly, (lvl-6)-sweetness, (MAIN) barley malt, mild citrus
Finish: grainy-bread, semi-sweet malt finish.
Summary: Pretty boring, just sweet barley malt, not much hop profile or anything else.

Tap in Vancouver. Dark gold with small white head. Mild aroma. Pale ale elements but very drinkable. Not very complex, but balanced well. Actually gets better as you drink it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Phillipís snowcase calendar. The bottle didnít specify the type of beer, and after pouring and tasting blind then checking Rate Beer I can honestly say it doesnít taste much like an English Pale Ale at all. Has more of a thin, watery lager profile. Not bad but also not really good if you canít tell what itís supposed to be.
