Malty, hoppy, drimkable. More than normal levels of carbonation. Drank straight from the bottle

Amber brownish beer with a very strong frothy head. The aroma is chocolaty and roasted, and the flavour is malty, with some chocolate and some roastedness. Overall a nice mildly roasted and mildly malty beer.

Pours a dark copper with a small head. Smells a bit malty. Taste is a bit sweet with light hops. Overall not bad for an ambet ale.

Dropped this one on ice to chill before opening in a vain attempt to combat the steaming heat of this insane last day of August heat wave. Pour is copper with a thin veil of foam. Lightly hopped, with an overdose of honey dipped malts, slight hint of nuts, maybe a little bit of vegtable stock in the background. Not as bad as some of the reviews below would suggest but nothing special either. Too sugary to be crisp. Think marketing this as a session ale is back firing (on ratebeer) as everyone expects it to taste like every other watery ipa. Not sure why I’d have this again when the masterful Great Lakes Pompous Ass is so readily available.

Pretty average for a session. Color is an darker wheaty color. Poured with a slight head which quickly dissipated. Taste is lightly bitter with a hint of sweetness. Palate is slightly more carbonated than average with a lingering finish.

473 ml can from LCBO. Pours a clear amber/orange with average cream-coloured head. Aroma is caramel, honeyed grains and a mellow grassiness. Flavour is lightly sweet with dusty grains, caramel, honey and light grassiness. Oily mouthfeel. Ok.

Shared a pitcher of this in Vancouver last week. Has very little head and a copper body. Okay malts and light hop flavour, medium finish. Rather "meh" but it got the job done in a social setting.

A syrupy malt aroma, pours a clear amber color with a short lasting white well laced head. Tastes of malt and a hint of hazelnut. A watery feel with a metalic finish.

Poured from a bottle. Clear copper color, full off white head. Light syrup malt aroma. Light body with a watered down malt flavor and a uneventful finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2015 473ml can. Pours a fairly large foamy white head and has a golden amber appearance. Lacing is ok. Aromas are somewhat fruity, has lots of grainy and grassy notes. Flavours are mostly malty and grainy. Also a bit of bready hints. Subtle fruit notes. Average carbonation. Good retention. Nothing really stands out with this one. Decent but I?ve enjoyed better from this brewery.
