Way better than commercial ales, but definitely playing the margins between commercial beer and craft beer standards. Caramel malt and pumpkin on the nose. The refreshing session taste profile includes rich malts, pumpkin, and grassy hops. Soft carbonation and a hint of berries round out this easy drinker.

Pours a clear dark golden with a medium white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of earthy hops, caramel and tobacco. A bit muted. Taste is of caramel, light breadiness, cereals / bran. Body is light to medium and carbonation high, a bit aggressive. Unconvincing...

Can (473 ml) shared at tasting. Shared by czar, thanks! Clear orangey-golden with a small white head leaving little lacing. Aroma is of Welch grapes, toasted malts, caramel... boring. Taste is sweet and Welch grape juice forward with toasted notes and caramel. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Bland and herbal finish. Boiled vegetabled. That’s not good.

473ml can. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. It’s a pretty pint for sure. On the nose, light resinous notes, light green vegetable, caramel, hard water notes, and light apple. Taste wise, caramel, mineral notes, and light woodiness that leads into watery biscuity malt, light straw, and light mineral notes. Add to that some really clumsy soda-like carbonation. It’s an alright beer, but not worth the price. You could definitely find a better example from the UK for a cheaper price.

Bottled. Hazy orange body, small white head. The aroma is sweet, with pumpkin, butter and raisins. The taste is quite similar, more squash and pumpkin. Slightly oily palate.
