Pull the tab and getaway! Bottle Rocket is an India Session Ale packed with a bright, hoppy bitterness sure to ignite your tastebuds. Unlike its big cousin IPA, this beer is light in colour and medium bodied but packs a hop blast sure to satisfy even the most seasoned Hoprotechnician. Spark it up!

A 6 pack of cans from BC Liquor store in north Burnaby. A pale yellow beer with generous white head and malted bitter citrus nose. Light, crisp, refreshing bitter citrus hops and satisfying malt balance here. Nice! 3.6.

I just hosed I thought I was ordering a pint and waitress dropped off a can....... 6.65 for a can of beer?!? Besides the price at this place this isn’t that bad. Light, crisp, good bitter finish, nice citrus flavor, not a bad thing to say for what it is. The can is really cool looking. 6.65 for a can....... really?

355 ml can from a six-pack from Real Canadian Liquorstore, served in a goblet. Pours a bright, clear medium amber shade with moderate carbonation and a pearly white head that retreats to leave fronds of lace. Aroma is primarily of lemony/limey citrus and juicy resinous hops, with fresh, light malt winding its way around and tying things together; flavor is a good balance of lemon and pine hoppiness and faintly sweet malt. Thin and dry-finished, with a soft bitter bite. Another nicely-done, balanced ale...I am absolutely loving the beers in the ISA category on the whole. A pedantic part of me feels an ABV maximum between 3-4% ought to be a strict criterion for the "Session" designator...but if the malt-to-hops ratio is within reason and the beer is generally good, why fuss with a percentage point or two? Just bring it on.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a touch of copper and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a musty grass note with a bit of resin and a grain backbone. Flavor has more of a bread note with earthy grass and a bit of light pine supporting.

355 ml can, Calgary, AB, Canada via Coop. Hazy yellow, almost no head. Surprising citrus hop aroma with some herbal spruce resin in the background. Sharp citrus flavour, some bubblegum and a long milky herbal finish.
