Der dumpf herbe Beginn zeigt deutlich, dass das Bier schon viel Hopfenaroma verloren hat. Bitter, vollmundig. Abschließend trocken und getreidig. Noch ok! 12/9/11/9/11/9

Bottle at the Wasana’s Winter Beer Tasting 2012! Thanks Jonas!
The beer in the glass is ruby red. It smells brutally hoppy, very bitter and spicy. Starts with massive bitter hops. Little aroma hops. Slightly soapy in the background. Very fizzy carbonation! Middle part is very bitter and scratchy-hoppy. Goes into a dusty-dry, bitter finish!

Thanks Jonas!!! Please standby for a real rating. I’m actually enjoying the company of other beer enthusiasts instead of being a non-social "I must rate this right now!!!"

Pours a dark ruby red with a big frothy white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet malt and a great hop presence. Taste is a great hop and sweetness mouthfeel, with a malt and slightly sticky aftertaste. Thanks to manuchampions for this!

Lagerboy (287) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2011
Not nearly as intense as ’Arrogant Bastard’, more like an American Medium Ale... but that makes it more Lagerboy friendly! A lovely deep red ale with a thick frothy head, lots of hops and malt, fruity, earthy, yummy!

Pour deep ruby garnet with big off white head outstanding lacing. Smell is great tropical fruit, spice, caramel, earthy tone, piney. Taste malty sweet, quite bitter, spicy, piney, booze well hidden, caramel, citrus hops. MF medium chewy/sticky body with fine prickly carb. Great beer awesome balance of malt and bitterness plus 1 for a well done vintage reference.
