650ml brown bottle. Golden colour, hazy. Small white cap. Nose has some spice, orange peel and lemon. Taste has grains, coriander, yeast, orange notes. Dry finish, light hops, light grains and spice remaining. Medium body with pretty zingy carbonation. Pretty nice.

Disappointed in the mislabeled bottle though I’ve always like the labels, ipa does not belong white or not. On another note I do enjoy the lace that sticks around, the flavour and taste of orange yeasty coriander sweetness also didn’t disappoint me.

Pours a hazy golden straw color with a white head. Smells of wheat and coriander. Would really like this to be a lot more hoppy for a wipa. Kinda disappointed overall.

Bottle, shared with Parksy. Very hazy pale gold body with a thick white crown. Looks appealing! Aroma is extremely spicy in the Belgian wit department-- tons of coriander, a little sage even. Lively mouthfeel, very estery, again with a big spice hit. Quite yeasty. This is more like an imperialized wit than it is an IPA. They missed the mark on what my pre-conceived notion of the style should be (but I’m no authority), but somehow still made a tasty and flavourful brew. Nice accident!

Pours a cloudy straw with frothy white head and good lacing. Aroma is yeast, lemon, wheat. Medium to full bodied with a creamy mouth feel. The carbonation comes in a touch too high. Flavours of wheat, bubble gum, yeast, coriander. Finish is non-existent. There is no trace of IPA in this white ale. Though, it’s not a bad beer - quite sessionable.

Bottle into a tulip. Pours a cloudy gold with minimal head turning to a slight lacing. Scent is over-stewed hops, I am sorry to say. Citrus and steamed greens. Odd. Taste echoes the aroma, but I am happy to say that it goes from steamed greens to very nice hops and oranges, balanced with a decent sweet malt with a bit of coriander in the finish. Medium mouthfeel, somewhat oily like a Belgian that has been lightly watered, creamy carbonation. Lingering hoppy finish. I had never tried a white IPA before, so this has been a new experience. I can’t say that the aroma is all that appealing, but the flavour does make up for it.

Single bottle purchased from Willow Park Wine & Spirits in Calgary, AB on 09/22/2012. Colour: Morning urine yellow (so for the description choice) with thick foamy medium-high head. Nose: Immediate blast of dirty dish towel. Spring earthy notes for the hops. Wet white dough. A pinch of pepper. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Again pepper but without the spice. Some noticeable astringency mid-palate. Coriander finally appears but can’t find the orange peel. Very un-balanced and the hops do not mesh well at all.

650 ml bottle. Pours a clear yellow/gold with light head and lots of carbonation. Aromas of bananas and cloves, grass and yeast. Malty up front with citrus and banana flavors. Maybe a bit of white pepper and coriander. Has Belgian White characteristics, but also has unique notes. Quite refreshing independent of style.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow, white layer. Green citric hops, light wheat body, mellow sparkly mouthfeel. orangepeel and lemongrass notes, the wit spices shine through, slightly perfumed. Pleasant balance in the aromatics.

Bottle. Vibrant cloudy yellowy orange beer with a strong foamy white head. The aroma is mildly citric, and the flavour is very zesty citric with slight elements of dryness and a touch of yeastiness. Overall a really good beer, the white IPA is very similar to a Belgian witbier. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
