3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear, pale straw-yellow colour with virtually no head. Grains, corn and a touch of yeast and apple cider in the aroma, mostly classic lager but thankfully no skunky or off notes. Flavour is much the same, classic lager but surprisingly full flavoured and clean. Kind of impressive for a lager, no cheap adjunct flavours and nicely balanced, finishing neat and tidy with a touch of sweetness and a whisper of hops. Would recommend to any lager-loving friend as a step up from nearly any other lager out there.

Bottle into pint glass. Pours a clear straw colour. Aroma is of malt with a slight fruitiness from the yeast. Taste is pretty balanced malt and hoppiness. Pretty easy going beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear amber, with just the slightest head and a little lace. Has some grassines, cereal with citrus backbone. Not grassy enough as say, a Samuel Smith, but I’d have it again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It pours with a nice wihite head that dissipates quickly. It’s cloudy gold with lots of bubbles, five-per cent alcohol and has a slightly grassy aroma. There’s a slight maltiness and a hint of bitterness. The finish is fine.

Pale yellow pour, minimal head with little lacing. Some grassy citrus notes, also has an off kind of metallic notes.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
355mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out grassy notes and light skunked vegetal notes. Flavour is similar, bringing out some light spiciness, grass and light skunked vegetal notes. Fairly clean and drinkable. Pretty much as good as a pale lager can be, though that’s not saying much.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Part of the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6 pack (2014). Pours a clean light golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head, decent retention and lacing. Soapy aromas with some citrus sourness. This blends in to a nice grassy hop nose. Light taste with not much malt and just a little more hops. Lightly dry and pretty refreshing for a summer brew.

Poured from bottle. Came in BC craft brew mix pack. Light golden colour, with small white head. Citrus aroma with a bit of spice. Clean light mouth feel, with sweet malt, and light bitterness. Quite refreshing, and well balanced.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
341ml bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a good sized white head. Light green tea, light green apple gummy worm (yup), light resinous hop notes, and straw heavy malt on the nose. Light bodied with more faint notes of green tea, resinous hops, slightly watery, and light tropical fruit. Easy drinking, and pretty tasty given how quiet the flavours are. Really makes me think "Brooklyn Lager", and that is indeed a compliment. I’d buy a six of this any day.
