3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of straw corn and banana. Taste is much the same. Had in tap from the brewery at a tasting. It's good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
341ml brown bottle. Pale yellow, a bit of haze. White foam. Nose is grainy and light. Taste has a sweet start, grainy, light grass hop notes. Dry end, a bit of lingering grass. A bit better than your average pale lager but nothing to go out of your way for.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Phillips. Murky straw-coloured with foamy white head. Toasty cereal and corn, pilsner aroma and a slight metallic taste. Easy-going and dry; finishes with a light bitterness. Mild, but not unpleasant.
Paired well with bacon maple doughnuts (what wouldn’t?)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A lasting white foam head with aromas of malt and hops with hints of corn. A short to medium finish on the palate and some mild bitterness. A nice smooth slightly creamy taste and lots of carbonation. An easy drinking and refreshing beer named after the pub in the Doug and Bob McKenzie show.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a clear pale yellow with a big soapy white head that lasts the entire pint and leaves tons of lace. Aroma of dme, corn, lemon citrus and pale malts. Taste is much of the same dme, corn and a sour emon finish... Not sure what phillips was trying to do here.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 (355ml bottle) Part of the Phillips mixed box. Very corn flavoured and macro-brewery nose. I suspect this is supposed to be a funny take on Bob & Doug McKenzie’s movie ’Strange Brew’. Sadly, the joke is on us as this could be Phillips worst offering.
