Bottle into pint glass. Aroma is ginger. Taste is ginger. Not much else to say about this beer. I do not like it. This is a dumper. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Bottle. Slightly cloudy orange-amber pour with a small, foamy off-white head. Aroma is mostly sweet, lots of ginger and a hint of lime. Flavour is less ginger than the aroma, just a minor tingle with a slight gingery flavour, and otherwise resembles a pretty plain pale ale. Comes together OK, but certainly nothing special. Seems like itís designed to pair well, not to drink alone.

The second worst ginger beer I have ever had. Flat fizzy pour with a very stale ginger taste. Bleh. Phillips is better than this. (Maybe it was stale because it was in a pre packaged 2014 Snowcase calendar, would be willing to retry).

Pours a clear amber copper with a short-lived head diminishing rapidly to nothing and no lacing. Nose is overwhelmingly fresh ginger, with only the merest hint of caramel. Taste follows suit, with low sweetness, and a building spiciness. Medium body and flat carbonation. Not all that interesting. I like a nice spicy ginger beer, and typically donít like a lot of sweetness, but despite its ticking both those boxes, Iím not all that fussed over this one. The low-lived head and carbonation probably contribute to this impression, and it feels like it would benefit from a little more sweetness.

Rating #816 - December 9, 2013 - Beer 9 of the Phillips Snowcase - 341mL Bottle. 5%. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma is real ginger and malty sweetness. Was expecting a fizzy, gingery mess, but this is balanced, crisp mouthfeel, little heavy on natural ginger flavour but not uninviting. One of the better ginger beers out there, but I must say this is not to my taste.

Light copper pour. Aroma is ginger and ginger. Dominates the palate as well and lends the spiciness. I fucking hate ginger. My rating shouldnít count, but Iím adding it anyway.

If you like ginger... Pours hazy orange. Smells like the ginger you get with sushi. Taste like the ginger you get with sushi. Little hoppy forward, then embrace the ginger. Finish a bit bitter and lingering. A good novelty beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small fizzy off-white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is really heavy on the ginger, and itís not like candied ginger or ginger essence, itís full-on fresh grated ginger root. So raw and intense that it has me a bit scared. The flavor is crazy big on the ginger as well. It/s like chewing on a ginger root. I can taste maybe a hint of sweet caramel malt, but itís pretty faint. Man, you have to be a really hard core fan of ginger to get into this one. The finish is spicy and hot with minimal sweetness to mitigate the ginger. Light to medium bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation and a long lingering finish. Not feeling good about finishing a whole 22oz bottle of this bad boy.

Clear tan color. Ginger and hops fight for the aroma but ginger wins out. A quick hop start that hands the flavor over to a fragrant ginger taste. The ginger stains the palate and leave a light burn behind.

Bottle - Raw ginger, a bit earthy and a tiny sweetness. Clear gold with a thin head. Tastes of raw ginger, a bit of heat but falls flat after that. There is nothing to balance this or distinguish. It doesnít even taste like a ginger beer pop. Although if you donít like sweet fizzy ginger drinks this may be good for you.
