A smooth clean hop cleanse on your palate. This is what IPA tastes like when you have it at its inception. Great fresh hop IPA! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Nice raw hop cone aroma along with notes of cut grass and a bit of tangelo. Upon drinking, I got a big metallic flavor upfront on the palate, before things drift into grass, dry bready malts, and a touch of light hard toffee. Moderate bitterness. I liked the aroma, but too bad about the metallic off-note in the mouth.

Awesome! I don’t have any new adjectives for how great Phillipe’ IPAs are. Citrusy, fresh, delicious. Get any of them!!

Clear and smooth IPA. Not nearly the hops presence I expected - kind of subdued.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a frothy white head. Light fruit and clean grain aromas, not overly hoppy. Flavour is fairly well balanced sweet and bitter, medium hoppy, tastes fresh and juicy. Relatively light bodied, but not watery and pretty flavourful. Not incredible, but decent.

Had this a few years back... resin heavy with pine needles, light toasted caramel malts, not overly sweet either. Tons of juicy, lush citrus fruits, moderate bitterness.

Certainly not the best fresh hop beer I’ve had.. But still pretty good. Fresh melon like aromas. Flavors are citrus and melon. The hops shine without being too bitter.. So it’s well balanced.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver
Cloudy golden to light amber color, medium sized compact head. Initially the aroma is hoppy, nice, with delicate fruity and resiny presence; later it’s reminiscent of freshly cut grass and weed. Dry mouthfeel, lean, the right choice for this beer; not much malt flavor though, what is left is a bit papery; the hops leaves a fresh impression of white grapes, for example muscatel, but the second impression is less favorable.
Fragile beer. In any case, one of the best Fresh Hops I had this year in BC (it was not a strong competition).

Piney/herbal hops, does taste green but in a pleasant way, hints of mint, gentle bitter finish. Very drinkable, had low expectations but this is quite refreshing and enjoyable.

Orange-tinted gold, low white head that persists. Very nice pungent fresh hop aroma right out of the bottle that carries over into the palate perfectly. Piney with floral notes, lightly sweet underlying malts. A little lighter in the body, a very drinkable beer with great hop flavour.
