Purchased bomber at Spinnaker’s Spirit Merchants, Vic West. Pours out a clear, light gold, could easily be mistaken for a lager. Decent head that evaporated quickly. Nose is very aromatic, powerful notes of citrus, pine, and floral hops attack the senses in a good way. Taste is once again, citrus and pine, tangy and light. This is basically their Bottle Rocket’s older brother. So many similarities though this one has a bit more complexity to it. Very enjoyable. Palate is nice, has a bit of a sting to it that leaves the mouth watering after a sip. All in all, another tasty IPA from Phillips.

On cask at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy blonde with a few bubbles of white head. Very strong nose from the hops, with loads of citrus upfront, floral notes and leafy hops - smells very green. Flavour brings out bitter hops in the way of leafy citrus hops and a touch of floral. Not much malt backbone and the palate is very soft due to the cask. Good stuff.
