3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
341ml brown bottle. Gold pour, lightly hazy. Good looking creamy white head that lasts forever, appealing messy lacing. Nose has spicy citrus, quite lemony. Taste has mild sweet malts, earthy middle, slight woody notes, slightly floral, some lemon candy. Late resiny bitterness. Medium body with medium carbonation. Still finding that Phillips house character in here... but managed to enjoy this beer anyways.

341ml bottle from the Phillips HopBox mixer from Coop. Pours a hazy copper with a fairly frothy head. sticky lacing. Aroma is sweet orange zest and bold sappy, resinous pine note.Taste is mild sweetness (citrusy, piney, floral) and a lingering bitterness - sappy pine-tar. A really good single hop brew from Victoria.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle - Earthy pine and resinous hops. Clear gold with a rich white head. Earthy pine again with a great balanced sweetness and appropriate bitterness. Surprisingly one of the best single hops beers I have had.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy deep gold with white head, much lacing. Phillips perfume nose with nice blend of earth and citrus, light caramel comes out nice in the flavour, same bitterness as their Rye. Light resins. That sweet hopiness on the finish but a good balance Iíd say. Done right. First time Iíve really thought about Zeus, canít say how it compares with Columbus. Thanks, Phillips, for the chance to try it. Simple and delightful.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly haze light amber with a thin white head. Very aromatic, notes of citrus. Taste is hoppy, good bitterness, more citrus notes, warms to a grassy hoppness. Almost no malt taste, this beer is all about the hops. Finishes to a citrus bitterness. Pretty good, especially if the focus is on the zeus hop.

Cloudy hues of mustard and tangerine. Luxurious cumulus head. Valentines special night lacing... Hello! Fresh picked pineapple aroma. Very excited for this. Surprisingly forward citrus flavour. Taste like chewing on hemp stock at the finish. Not any complex hops work here. A strong single hop varietal presence. Iím liking this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
341ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head with good retention settling to reveal some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is lemon and grapefruit with some piney notes. Taste is grapefruit and pine bitterness with a bit of lemon tartness and a light caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some decent carbonation. Overall, a nicely done IPA that I highly recommend others to sample.

On cask. Hazy/cloudy copper, white head and decent lacing. Green hop aroma -- more floral, with citrus and spice undertones. A bit muddy, but has solid malt background. Medium sweetness, short bitter finish with a nice green hop accent. A smart departure for Phillips and well-executed.
